Researching NVIDIA's Turing Architecture
Research and Analytics
My largest research paper to date. Completed for my first high-level computer science course, this 7-page paper delved into the details of the new (at the time) Turing Architecture developed by NVIDIA for their RTX series graphics cards.
Unity Development
Technology and Digital Literacy
An important part of being a programmer is the ability to learn different coding languages and technologies. During my summer break in 2020 I learned how to develop games in Unity and created a small portfolio of games to show for it. Pictured is a quick platformer-style game that has its levels timed by a rising water level.
Collection Management
Planning
A major part of working at a card store and as a card game player is collection management. When acquiring cards for decklists for myself or others, having cards sorted into an easily found location saves an immense amount of time. In game development, saving things in a structured way makes finding and editing assets far easier.
Ahead of the Curve
Co-operation and Verbal Communication
As an avid World of Warcraft player and raider, I've worked alongside hundreds of other players to defeat complex encounters and achieve victory. Pictured is my character atop a special mount that could only be acquired by defeating the final boss of the current raid on Heroic (hard) difficulty, alongside 9 to 29 other players.
